Some of the finest wound stitching this competition has ever seen...!!! It's a masterpiece. It's so realistic (enlarge photo immediately after reading this) it looks like a real wound. When you add to that, the blood in the hair she has going on there & the fact that she's introduced a bizarre element of powder blue nail varnish, as if that was an accepted Halloween staple..? This all comes together in a truly wonderful & memorable breakthrough Halloween moment. Trying to introduce a new look to as established a culture as Halloween at WHQ is always gonna be risky, if you don't rock it with 100% confidence, it won't take off. Bit like the word "fetch" in the movie Mean Girls (vacant looks on the faces of the straight male audience... but the girls & all our gay brethren know what we're on about). Is powder blue nail varnish the bleeding eye socket of the upcoming 2015 competition..?! We shall have to wait & see. This kids, is one of the looks you've gotta beat if you wanna win this thing.
